VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SERVICES

OVERVIEW

I carry out all aspects of vehicle servicing for the old and new, I have all the manufactures servicing schedules to hand so I know what needs doing and when, having all the necessary tools and knowledge to perform any type of services at a fraction of main dealer prices.

New car servicing-the facts-2003 european legislation states that servicing for any make or model can be carried out at any independent garage and your warranty is not invalidated.

Products relating to servicing and repairs are in line with the best enviromental practice ensuring protection and conservation of the enviroment.

Oil & Filter PDF Print E-mail

The Oil & Filter is replaced along with the following checks:

  • Check for general oil leaks.
  • Check operation of exterior lights.
  • Check / top up power steering reservoir (if applicable).
  • Check brake fluid level and top up if required.
  • Check windscreen washer operations & top up if required.
  • Check antifreeze level and strength.
  • Check timing belt replacement interval.

Interim Service PDF Print E-mail

Every 6,000 miles or 6 months

This service is designed for high mileage vehicles or for when your manufacturer recommends regular checks. The Interim Services includes replacement of the oil and oil filter and a number of checks of the main moving parts:

  • All of the lights are checked for operation.
  • The steering and suspension is checked for wear and condition.
  • The wheel bearings are checked for wear.
  • The underneath of the vehicle is inspected.
  • Under bonnet fluid levels are checked and topped up as required.
  • The tyre condition is checked and all pressures adjusted as required.
  • The vehicle will also be road tested.

Full Service PDF Print E-mail

Every 12,000 miles or 12 months

The Full Service is a comprehensive. It includes the replacement of correct vescocity engine oil and filter, air filter, pollen filter and an extensive range of checks that are inline with all manufacturer's service schedules:

  • It checks the main moving parts that may need attention.
  • All of the lights are checked for operation.
  • The road wheels are removed to carry out a thorough inspection of the braking system.
  • The brakes are also adjusted if required
  • The tyre condition is checked and all pressures adjusted as required
  • The steering and suspension is checked for wear and condition.
  • The wheel bearings are checked for wear.
  • The exhaust system is inspected.
  • The underside of the vehicle is checked.
  • The Engine oil and filter mis replaced.
  • The Air Filter is replaced.
  • The Pollen filter if fitted is replaced.
  • The service light will also be reset.
  • Time is spend visually checking for faults with the vehicle to make sure its safe on the road including a road test.

Major Service or Inspection service. PDF Print E-mail

Every 24,000 miles or 24 months

The Major Service is a very comprehensive service and offers excellent value for money. It covers everything included in the Full Service and also items that are regularly recommended for replacement every 2 years. This includes changing the fuel filter, spark plugs, brake fluid and antifreeze.

The Major Service covers 150 checks and in addition to our very comprehensive Full Service it also covers the following items that should be replaced every 2 years:

  • In addition to the Full service the Spark Plugs are replaced (any long life, platinum or specialist plugs incur an extra charge).
  • The Brake fluid is replaced.
  • The Antifreeze coolant is drained and replaced.
  • The External Fuel Filter is replaced.
  • A full systems diagnostic is carried out, including engine management, air bag and anti-locking brakes.
